Bilbray doesn't want to help War Veterans

Its so nice to hear that Bilbray will be carrying on the wonderful Neo-conservative legacy of cutting benefits to our veterans.

With a past record like this...

[...]
the House rejected a motion, by a vote of 198-219, to provide an additional $213 million for veterans medical care.

Bilbray voted No on this motion. [H.R. 2099,
December 7, 1995]

Who needs friends like Bilbray in the Committee for Veterans Affairs?

Busby Calls for Debates

Looks like Busby is taking Bilbray seriously...

[...]
Apparently alluding to their differences on immigration, Bilbray on Thursday said sarcastically that he would do his best to see that Busby gets "face time with me, as long as she agrees the debates can be done in English."

Busby, who has never insisted that any debates be done in any language other than English, said Friday through her campaign manager that she took Bilbray's statements as an acceptance of her challenge.

"I'm sorry he has already resorted to negative attacks," Busby, who was busy at a campaign event in San Marcos, said in a written statement read by campaign manager Ray Drew.
[...]

Too bad that Bilbray doesn't take issues in the 50th as a big deal...

[...]
"The campaign is not my No.1 priority right now," Bilbray said.
[...]

Its true! Bilbray has been hard at work voting for a payraise for himself...his first day in office.

He gets a pay raise for sitting in office for 6 months.

Nice.

Busby on Hardball

Can't wait to hear the topic....

A good old face off will do the 50th good!
